La.bor [ley-ber]

physical or mental work, esp. of a hard or fatiguing kind; toil.

Now, one would think, who would ever wish this on themselves or greatly anticipate this happening.....But, I can tell you that it is all I'm thinking about now and I'm hoping it will happen very soon!!!! I go in tomorrow for my 37 week appt. and hoping that we will hear some good news :-) It may be a long 3 weeks at our house!!

With all of the symptoms I've been having lately, I feel like either the baby is ready to come out and my body is not letting him OR my body is ready for the baby to come out and he is not ready!! I'm hoping they will get on the same track here soon! I am so at a loss as to when this might actually happen!!!

It's Going, It's Going, It's.........Almost Gone........

It will be a sad day in our house soon (and Maddy's cousins' house in VA) as the Libby Lu store in Jordan Creek mall (and nationwide) is closing up shop soon. We were in there today and the store is almost completely cleared out. They will be closing the end of this month.

Maddy has grown to love this store as the past few years it has been an annual event for her to go in with her 2 older cousins, Meg and Abbie and get a 'Libby Du makeover'. (I know, I know, how did we get roped into this?!?) They get to dress up, get their hair done, nails done, etc....At the end the ladies there teach them a dance and they get to "perform" their dance right outside of the store for anyone around to watch.

The good news about the store closing for Jeremy and I is that we will no longer have to strategically park away from Younkers at the mall as everytime we park over there and walk past Libby Lu with Maddy we "have" to go in for a visit and to "look around".

She's a Natural!!

Here is Maddy holding her new baby cousin Adam who was born on Christmas day. My brother Dick and his wife Dana were driving home to LeMars from Ottummwa last week and got stuck in a bad storm and ended up staying the night at our house. Maddy was very excited to get to meet her new cousin as were we!! He is soooo small and cute!

Do you think she'll be this good with her new brother once he comes???!!?? We are really hoping so :-)

Maddy's Preschool

Today I signed up to help out at Maddy's preschool and had a great time. I helped out once in the Fall and she has been wanting me to come back ever since. I figured I better get in there before the baby comes as who knows after that! They have a children's hospital set up there this week, which is right up Maddy's ally. She loves anything to do with doctors, babies, etc..., so was very excited to show me everything. Here she is giving one of the babies a check-up with her

preschool friends. It is so neat to watch her interact with everyone at school; she is very serious

about her "jobs" there and just overall loves everything about it.

New Family Blog!!

Hi All -- So, we finally decided to start a family blog. We love reading everyone else's blogs, so thought we would start one up of our own!! Hope you enjoy reading!!
